# Business Operations Views: Data Sources and Projection Rules

> Reference table of Business Operations views, their purposes, source systems, and how Spine Fabric projects each into the domain.

The Business Operations domain surfaces several canonical views. Each view is assembled on demand by the Spine Fabric from ingested source systems and projected into the workbench with consistent entity resolution and authorization.

| View | Purpose | Source Data | Projection Rule |
| - | - | - | - |
| Active Initiatives | Track current programs, owners, and blockers | Asana, Notion, Linear | Assemble initiative records from project data with linked owners and milestones |
| Pending Approvals | Surface open decision gates across workflows | Google Workspace, Asana, HRIS | Filter approval-type events by status and map to stakeholders and SLAs |
| Vendor Portfolio | Monitor contracts, risk, and renewal dates | ERP, Notion, Google Workspace | Resolve vendor identity across systems and attach contract and spend context |
| Process Health | Measure SLA adherence and bottlenecks | Asana, Linear, Google Workspace | Compute duration metrics from workflow state transitions and flag breaches |
| Policy Registry | Maintain current rules and attestation status | Notion, Google Workspace | Map policy documents to version records and attestation events |
| OKR Dashboard | Align objectives with progress and confidence | Notion, Google Workspace, Asana | Link objectives to key results, initiatives, and latest progress evidence |
| Spend Overview | Review vendor and project spend trends | ERP, Google Workspace | Aggregate spend transactions by vendor and initiative with trend indicators |
| Exception Log | Track policy exceptions and approvals | HRIS, Notion, Asana | Collect exception requests with approvals and expiration dates |

Each projection respects domain scoping: users see only the vendors, approvals, and initiatives for which they have authorized access. The Spine Fabric updates these views continuously as source systems emit events.
