# Business Operations Integrations: Source Systems and Feeds

> The source systems feeding Business Operations and what each connector provides: Google Workspace, Asana, Notion, Linear, HRIS, and ERP.

Business Operations is built on data from six source systems connected to the Spine Fabric. Each connector ingests, normalizes, and emits events so the domain stays current without manual import.

| Source System | Data Provided | Update Pattern | Key Events |
| - | - | - | - |
| Google Workspace | Policy docs, approval forms, org directory, email metadata | Polling and webhooks | Approval submitted, policy doc updated, org change |
| Asana | Projects, tasks, milestones, workflow state, approvals | Webhooks and polling | Task created, workflow state change, approval requested |
| Notion | Knowledge base, vendor pages, contract records, OKRs | Polling | Page edited, vendor record updated, OKR progress posted |
| Linear | Engineering issues, initiative links, workflow items | Webhooks | Issue created, state transition, linked initiative change |
| HRIS | Org structure, people data, policy attestations, approver hierarchy | Polling | Hierarchy change, attestation recorded, role update |
| ERP | Vendor master, spend transactions, contract records, GL data | Polling and batch | Vendor created, contract renewed, spend posted |

The Spine Fabric resolves identities across these systems: a person in HRIS is the same as a task owner in Asana and an approver in Google Workspace. Vendors in Notion and ERP are unified into a single entity. This allows the domain to present a cohesive view without requiring data migration into a separate tool.
