# Content Business Context: Entities, Events, and Evidence

> Understand the Content domain's business model: entities, relationships, events, and evidence that power editorial and knowledge workflows in Spine.

The Content domain operates on a structured model of entities, relationships, and events. Spine Fabric ingests these from connected sources and assembles them into the context practitioners see in their workbench.

### Entities and Relationships

| Entity | Key Relationships | Description |
| - | - | - |
| Article | Author, Campaign, Topic, Category, Version | The core content unit from draft to publication |
| Asset | Article, Campaign, Category | Reusable media or file attached to content |
| Campaign | Article, Asset, Publication | A coordinated content initiative |
| Author | Article, Asset, Review | The individual responsible for creating or owning content |
| Topic | Article, Category | A subject tag for organization and discovery |
| Category | Article, Topic, Asset | A high-level grouping for content |
| Publication | Article, Campaign | The release record with date, channel, and status |
| Version | Article | A tracked revision with diff and authorship |

### Key Events

* **Article Created** — a new draft is initialized.
* **Draft Updated** — body, metadata, or assets change.
* **Review Requested** — an author submits for editorial review.
* **Review Approved** — an editor approves the draft.
* **Published** — the article goes live in a source system.
* **Versioned** — a new revision is saved.
* **Asset Uploaded** — a new file enters the Asset Library.

### Evidence

Evidence in Content includes comment threads, approval receipts, publish confirmations, version diffs, and analytics snapshots. Spine Fabric preserves this as structured context for audit and continuity.
