# Content Domain Capabilities: Read, Write, Communication, Workflow

> Reference the governed capabilities available in the Content domain, with real examples like article creation, review routing, and publishing actions.

Every action in the Content domain is a governed capability. Capabilities carry authorization, scope, and produce a receipt. They define what practitioners and agents can do and how those actions are recorded.

### Read Capabilities

* `content.article.read` — view an article and its versions.
* `content.asset.read` — view asset metadata and preview.
* `content.campaign.read` — view campaign progress and linked items.
* `content.publication.read` — view publish history and channel details.

### Write Capabilities

* `content.article.create` — initialize a new draft with topic and campaign links.
* `content.article.update` — edit body, metadata, or status.
* `content.article.publish` — release an approved article to a connected source system.
* `content.asset.upload` — add a file to the Asset Library.
* `content.campaign.update` — modify campaign scope, dates, or goals.

### Communication Capabilities

* `content.review.request` — submit a draft for editorial review.
* `content.comment.add` — add an inline comment to a draft.
* `content.feedback.submit` — submit structured feedback after publication.

### Workflow Capabilities

* `content.workflow.trigger` — start a governed workflow such as Editorial Review or Publication.
* `content.approval.grant` — approve a draft and advance it to the next stage.
* `content.handoff.create` — transfer ownership or task responsibility with preserved context.

Each capability execution generates a receipt that is stored in the continuity layer and linked to the relevant article, author, and campaign.
