Communication in Operations spans human colleagues, Twin, domain agents, and external tools. Spine Fabric routes messages so context travels with every exchange and nothing is lost between channels. ### Patterns #### Human to Human * Ops practitioners leave handoff notes on open tickets for the next shift * Managers broadcast policy changes through the Policy Registry with read receipts * Escalation threads in Slack are linked back to the original request as evidence #### Human to Twin * You ask Twin to summarize a vendor portfolio or draft an approval memo * Twin replies with assembled context, cited sources, and proposed next steps * You approve, edit, or reject the proposal inline #### Twin to Agent * Twin delegates a contract date check to the Vendor Agent * Twin requests a risk score refresh from the Triage Agent before proposing an escalation * Agent results return to Twin, which formats them for your review #### Agent to Agent * The Asset Agent notifies the Approval Agent when a high-value procurement request is created * The Policy Agent validates a proposed action against rules and returns a compliance flag to the Triage Agent * The KPI Agent requests ticket summaries from the Discovery Agent for metric computation #### Agent to Tool * The Vendor Agent queries ServiceNow for contract end dates * The Asset Agent calls Google Workspace Admin API to check license assignments * The Approval Agent writes a decision record back to ServiceNow with a receipt Always verify that agent-to-tool output landed in the source system.
