# Product Engineering Architecture: Domain Projection

> How the Product Engineering domain is architected as a projection of the Spine Fabric with its contract and subsystems.

The Product Engineering domain is not a standalone application. It is a domain projection built on top of the shared Spine Fabric, rendered through a domain contract that defines entities, views, agents, capabilities, and workflows.

### Domain Contract

```yaml theme={null}
domain: product-engineering
entities:
  - Issue
  - Epic
  - Sprint
  - Release
  - PullRequest
  - Incident
  - Feature
  - Roadmap
views:
  - Sprint Board
  - Roadmap
  - Release Pipeline
  - Incident Queue
  - Backlog Health
agents:
  - Twin
  - Triage Agent
  - Release Agent
  - Code Review Agent
  - Roadmap Agent
capabilities:
  - linear.issue.read
  - linear.issue.update
  - github.pr.merge
  - pagerduty.incident.acknowledge
  - release.pipeline.promote
workflows:
  - Ticket Triage
  - Sprint Planning
  - Release
  - Incident Response
  - Code Review
integrations:
  - Linear
  - Jira
  - GitHub
  - Figma
  - Notion
  - PagerDuty
  - Sentry
  - Datadog
events:
  - issue.created
  - pr.merged
  - incident.resolved
  - release.published
```

### Subsystems

* **Domain Projection**: Maps normalized entities to views and surfaces.
* **Context Assembly**: Links related work across tools.
* **Agent Network**: Routes tasks between Twin and domain agents.
* **Capability Layer**: Executes governed read/write actions.
* **Workflow Engine**: Orchestrates multi-step processes with handoffs.
* **Integration Layer**: Connects to source systems via MCP connectors.
* **Event Layer**: Re-ingests receipts to keep state current.
