# Sales User Flow: From Prospect Discovery to Closed Deal

> The eight-step user path in the Sales domain: how AEs and SDRs enter Spine, discover leads, understand context, and drive deals to close.

The Sales user flow mirrors how revenue practitioners actually work. You enter SpineWorkspace with a goal, discover the right leads or deals, understand the context around them, and take governed actions that write back to your CRM. Every step is supported by continuity, so handoffs between people and agents are seamless.

    Open the Sales domain from the SpineWorkspace launcher. Your last session state, prioritized deals, and unread alerts are restored automatically.

    Browse My Pipeline, Active Prospects, or AI-suggested deal alerts. Twin surfaces deals that need attention based on close date, activity gaps, or stakeholder changes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Understand">
    Open a deal to see Account 360 context: stakeholder mapping, Gong call summaries, email threads, and LinkedIn profile highlights.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Contextualize">
    Review similar past deals, loss reasons, and win patterns. Spine assembles comparable opportunities from your history.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Decide">
    Determine the next best action: schedule a meeting, send a proposal, request a discount, or escalate to a manager.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Act">
    Execute the action using a governed capability. For example, `crm.opportunity.stage_update` advances the stage and logs evidence.

  <Step title="Review">
    Confirm the outcome in the Activity Timeline. The receipt shows what changed, who authorized it, and where it was written.

    Move to the next prioritized deal. Your context and notes persist across sessions and devices.
