Sales workflows orchestrate multi-step processes across people, agents, and systems. Each workflow has a trigger, a sequence of steps, defined handoffs, optional approvals, and a receipt. Workflows run inside Spine Fabric and write outcomes back to your CRM.

Lead Qualification

Trigger: A new lead is created or enriched above a score threshold. Steps:
  1. Discovery Agent enriches firmographic data.
  2. Triage Agent routes to the correct SDR based on territory and load.
  3. SDR reviews lead in Active Prospects view.
  4. SDR qualifies against ICP using context panel.
  5. If qualified, SDR converts lead to opportunity and assigns to AE.
Handoffs: SDR to AE via in-app handoff with full enrichment context. Approvals: None required for standard conversion. Manager approval if deal size exceeds AE tier. Receipt: Conversion event logged with lead source, SDR, AE, and timestamp.

Deal Progression

Trigger: AE updates stage or close date. Steps:
  1. AE advances stage in My Pipeline.
  2. Capability checks required fields and guardrails.
  3. If discount requested, Quote Agent validates and routes for approval.
  4. Manager approves or rejects via alert.
  5. Stage update synced to Salesforce/HubSpot.
Handoffs: AE to manager for approval; AE to CS if closed won. Approvals: Discount and custom terms require manager sign-off. Receipt: Stage change receipt with prior stage, new stage, approver, and sync status.

Forecast Update

Trigger: Weekly forecast deadline or rep-initiated submission. Steps:
  1. Forecast Agent rolls up open opportunities by category.
  2. Rep reviews AI-suggested categories in Forecast view.
  3. Rep adjusts commit, best case, or pipeline.
  4. Manager reviews rollup and challenges outliers.
  5. Final forecast locked and exported to source system.
Approvals: Manager review required before lock. Receipt: Forecast snapshot with owner, category, amount, and lock timestamp.
